Gladys Gonzalez, Executive Vice President

Gladys Gonzalez has been with the Catholic Charities family of agencies for eleven years. Serving in various capacities and multiple sites to advance the mission, increase capacity, sustainability, and provide relief to the most vulnerable in our community. Currently, Gladys is the Executive Vice President for Catholic Charities, and the Executive Director at Seton Home and St. Peter-St. Joseph Children’s Home.

She provides oversight to over 50 programs, which include parenting, legal support, counseling, humanitarian aid, senior services, and self-sufficiency services. Gladys was previously the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Programs for Catholic Charities where she collaborated, developed, implemented, and maintained operations as the organization established a new business model to advance the mission of “selfless service under the sign of love”. As Executive Director at the Guadalupe Community Center, Gladys was instrumental in launching new programs to address emergency services, education, and self-sufficiency initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal grants and local funding.

Prior to Catholic Charities, she held various roles including Operations Director for a Career Transition and Executive Coaching organization. She began her career at USAA where she worked for 19 years with her last role in the Office of CEO Support. Gladys has a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business and Social Justice from the University of the Incarnate Word. Gladys has a passion for serving, having done so since an early school age.   She has served in various leadership roles in the community and strongly believes in giving back. Her motto is “to those which much has been given, much is expected.”
