St Stephen's

Humanitarian Relief services

As soon as travel conditions were deemed safe last Thursday, our staff began transporting emergency supplies to communities affected by the disaster. Utilizing our Rapid Response Unit, which includes a box truck, a pickup truck, and a passenger van, teams delivered cots, blankets, tarps, cleaning supplies, food, and other essential items to provide immediate relief to residents impacted by flooding. Additionally, a mobile shower truck was deployed to offer affected residents access to showers and basic hygiene services.

On Friday, response efforts expanded to additional communities, where staff provided case management, emergency supplies, and food assistance. Our teams continue to work toward reaching communities along Highway 90 as conditions permit, delivering ongoing support and assistance.
