Safe, FREE Fun in the Sun!
The Guadalupe Community Center After School Program is hosting free, safe, and in-person summer camps again! With several church locations scheduled to host, summer camp will take place June 28 -July 30, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm to provide children 5-17 years old with academic reinforcement and recreation while school is out for summer. Each camp location has limited student capacity to maintain social distancing, and enrollment is first come, first served. Campers are asked to arrive with face masks to ensure safety for staff, volunteers, and other campers.
Campers will have a fun-filled summer camp, whether they are interested in science, photography, or basketball. There will be something for every type of student! For more information or to register, contact Victoria Lomas at (210) 226-6178 or vlomas@ccaosa.org.
A Range of Great Activities

Coding
Your child CAN learn to code this summer!
In addition to photography, recreation, crafts, and more, CODING is one of the activities offered at our Guadalupe Community Center camp location. It is fundamental for kids to understand the technology around them. Having children learn to code prepares them for the future and helps with creativity, math, and confidence.

Movie Nights
This summer, Catholic Charities’ After School Program is bringing back in-person movie nights! We’re showing fun animated movies, perfect for the whole family.
All movies will be shown at our pavilion at 7:30pm. Our first movie night will take place on June 25, when we will be showing Abominable.

Photography Contest
Our After School Program is hosting a photography contest for kids ages 5-17! All photos should show things or events that impact our San Antonio community. Twelve winners will be selected for inclusion in our calendar, and three winners will receive a special award!
All photos are due by July 16. Submit YOUR photography right here by clicking this link.
